Camera Purse

I got this little beauty for Christmas

I started looking for something stylin' to carry it and keep it protected.
All the cute camera purses are dang expensive. I got on Pinterest and started finding lots of tutorials on DIY camera purses.
I knew that was the route I needed to take

I went to target and found this purse that I'm in love with!
It was more than I wanted it to be.... $ 30.
But...it had all the features I wanted
1. Long strap
2. Lots of room in side
3. Pockets
4. Just plain cute

Supplies:

Foam
fabric
( I used flannel so it would be extra soft)
thread- of course

I measured the inside of the bag, then cut the foam pieces to size.
Then, cut the fabric to the right measurements and sewed them up.
I felt like I was making little pillow cases :)

All of the tutorials I read used velcro to secure everything.
I didn't do this because I wanted to use it as more than a camera purse.
To compensate, I made sure that my foam pieces were a little bit bigger so that they fit together securely.
It seems to be working well, not much movement at all.

Here's the inside....

The best part are all of the pockets.
Everything has a home and is easy to reach when I'm on the go.

Pinterest Sminterest

I'm sure you've all heard about the whole etiquette of pinning on Pinterest talk that's been going on lately.
I'm guilty of just pinning away unaware of what I'm doing.
I had no idea that we had to have permission to pin.

I am very new to blogging and was surprised that someone actually wanted to pin anything of mine.
I was flattered...thank-you.
Like everyone else, I want to be given credit for my ideas.
I always make sure to give credit where credit it due,
you know the "golden rule".

I ran across a site today that explains the process.
On that note, I wanted you all to know that I would love for you to pin anything you find on my blog, but please make sure it is linked back here.

Thanks for being here!
Have fun pinning!
I know I will:)
