Spoolery Hanger

My sis had a fun idea for a Christmas present for some friends. A bracelet/necklace hanger! Look how cute these bad boys or I guess since they are girly items, gorgeous gals turned out...

So much fun! She went to Wally World and found some frames for $5. First, she spray painted them. Then she used some cute scrapbook paper and hot glued it to the cardboard back that came with the frame. *Note to self: Make sure the paper is glued down really well or the knobs will pull it off.

Now for the knobs. This was one of those creative process moments. She wanted to put hooks on, but since it was just cardboard, we couldn't really drill hooks in, and we didn't want to deal with screws. So I suggested using wooden spools. We bought a pack in the wood aisle at the Hob Lob.  Of course we had to make them extra cute... enter clear stones! This is out that process turned out.

She glued scrapbook paper to the stone then hot glued the stone to the spool. Very cute if I do say so myself.

They weren't very sturdy, but a few bracelets or necklaces would work great for this little treasure!
